This property featured a poorly maintained front garden with crumbling concrete steps, mismatched turf remnants, and uneven surfacing. The layout posed clear safety risks and lacked curb appeal. Before renovation, the space was difficult to navigate, collect debris and weeds, and offered no practical use or visual consistency.
Key issues:
- Broken and sloped concrete steps
- Torn artificial turf and loose gravel
- Exposed edging and drainage problems
- No safe or defined walking route
- Visually messy and hard to maintain

To restore functionality and visual appeal, the goal was to install a durable, low-maintenance resin-bound pathway system that tied together the front and side access areas with a cohesive design. A warm, natural-toned blend was selected to complement the property’s brick exterior while offering practical year-round benefits like slip resistance and SUDS-compliant drainage.
Planned works included:
- Full ground clearance and debris removal
- Proper sub-base installation across all zones
- Level correction for step integration
- UV-stable resin-bound surfacing
- Seamless finish connecting lawn, side path, and entrance threshold
